The air blew past strong as solar winds, fueled by the final blasts from the stabilizers. A drifting silence hung in the air momentarily before the seals on the hull hissed and clicked in opening.

Arracraidira stepped on the tarmac just in time to feel the sun's warmth break through the morning haze. He may still be sectors away from home, but for that one moment, home came to him, reminding Arracraidira that he is not forgotten.

Actually, I really like the strangely-long coat. It seems fitting, somehow, to me. The ship is fantastic, and I like the white glow you added (in photoshop?) to make the lights extra-bright. Freefalling, however, doesn't strike me as a very auspicious name for any vehicle that flies.

but in space, is any direction up? I grabbed hold of the name a loong time ago, and it stuck. I love the song, but thats not the real reasoning. Its also a nod to Enders Game, the whole 'enemies gate is down' thing, but maybe a fatalistic emotion as well- [link] I kinda have it all wrapped up in the character. He dates back to highschool, and I think things created then are inseparable with the emotions of the time.
