the ground pulls at my feet, my mind is a cloud of feathers, and we will all float down the pavement until the clouds take us up in tendrils of vapor
Digital inkworks and Sketchpencilslines > 4+ hrs. I thought of the phrase ‘mind like…’ in response to a roommate who was scatterbrained, and I just thought it deserved an illustration. Its like being a dreamer with thousands of ideas, thoughts hurtling in chase of them a thousand miles an hour, and around you is just a clutter of paper. It’s the artists paradox, dreaming but never dealing with today. I guess this was my way to illustrate even that disappointment with my own life. Today just isn’t the same as what I can hope to see tomorrow. And sometimes its the walk with leaves blowing at your ankles that slam that thought home |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
