I thought of the phrase ‘mind like…’ in response to a roommate who was scatterbrained, and I just thought it deserved an illustration. Its like being a dreamer with thousands of ideas, thoughts hurtling in chase of them a thousand miles an hour, and around you is just a clutter of paper. It’s the artists paradox, dreaming but never dealing with today. I guess this was my way to illustrate even that disappointment with my own life. Today just isn’t the same as what I can hope to see tomorrow. And sometimes its the walk with leaves blowing at your ankles that slam that thought home
